We no longer have to sub-contract the work to install our wood, concrete, and composite pilings with this new barge. The Neptune team chose a custom hydraulic marine pivot crane for the barge. The 15 ton crane was integrated into the design of the barge, making it the most stable, safest crane/barge combinations possible.
Mike O’Conner, a long-time team member and supervisor at Neptune Atlantic Boat Lifts, is the Captain for Neptune 1 and Trident.
Mike is a 30 year Coast Guard veteran and holder of a 100 ton masters license. Mike intimately knows the waters and canals of the Keys from land and water, from Ocean Reef to Key West.
